Living abroad

The world is a global village, but no means of communication can replace a firm hug…….

Sure, now we have the internet
E-mail, Skype and all that
Whenever we want we can have a chat
And yes, of course, I value that

I just miss the touch of your hand
A small kiss, a big hug
That short look of understanding that we had
All those small gestures I miss all that

I miss you

Sure, you're living far away
And I believe you when you say
That you are happy, no doubt about that
But still I feel a little sad

I just miss your little jokes
Those little things so familiar to me
The smell of your hair
The touch of your head on my shoulder
I even miss your stupid remarks!

I miss all of you
I miss you

...don't think of yourself as a jazz musician. Think of yourself as a human being who plays music
